The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve (“Swan Reserve”) property is a brand-new Autograph collection property that just opened in November. I was thrilled to have a chance to take a first look at this gorgeous property. Swan Reserve is conveniently located right across the street from the Disney Swan and Dolphin properties. They have exchange privileges which means if you stay at any 3 of these resorts you can use the amenities (dining, pool, etc.) at any of the 3 resorts. With the Swan Reserve being an Autograph property, I went in with high expectations and they did not disappoint!
From the moment you arrive you are personally greeted by a member of the staff who is there to help escort you to the check-in desk and to address any questions that you may have. The check-in desk is pretty small but they have a very comfortable lobby area for you to wait in which includes a fabolous lobby bar with lots of seating areas.
The resort has a grab and go venue for quick dining but they also have a more formal dining area which features an open kitchen concept. There is also a space to reserve for private dining for just your party if it is available. I can’t remember the host’s name at Amore but she was so nice and friendly be sure to say hi if you visit.
The hotel has one pool but it is pretty large in size and the seating area around the pool is huge and spreads wide. There is also a pool bar so you don’t have to go far if you get thirsty. For those who need assistance getting in and out of the pool there was also a pool lift!
Throughout the hotel there are subtle touches that tell you that the designer of the hotel has great attention to detail. In fact, each floor has different décor and deigns giving you a different experience as you travel throughout the hotel.
The rooms were my favorite part. There are several different options to choose from. You can opt for a standard room which will just include beds and a bathroom or you can choose a 1- or 2-bedroom suite which were everything! The suites include a parlor area that features a dining room table, refrigerator, and microwave. It also has a queen size sleeper sofa and television. The suites will work great for families or groups traveling together. All of the rooms had floor to ceiling windows giving you amazing views of Disney and its surrounding area.
For those of you who are traveling and need meeting space for a wedding or any other function the Swan Reserve has that covered too. Their meeting space was one of the best I’ve seen in a while and it’s because they placed it on the top floor! Everyone you look there are amazing views and the décor and lighting really make the meeting space one of class. If you are getting married or having some type of meeting or reception look no further than this space it was absolutely jaw dropping.
